It's easy to see why there are so many sceptics of the Christian faith when you look at Bible passages about giants....but...what if it did have at least some truth to it...?
15 from the tribe of Gad, Geuel son of Maki.
16 These are the names of the men Moses sent to explore the land. (Moses gave Hoshea son of Nun the name Joshua.)
17 When Moses sent them to explore Canaan, he said, "Go up through the Negev and on into the hill country.
18 See what the land is like and whether the people who live there are strong or weak, few or many.
19 What kind of land do they live in? Is it good or bad? What kind of towns do they live in? Are they unwalled or fortified?
20 How is the soil? Is it fertile or poor? Are there trees on it or not? Do your best to bring back some of the fruit of the land." (It was the season for the first ripe grapes.)
21 So they went up and explored the land from the Desert of Zin as far as Rehob, toward Lebo Hamath.3 " 'If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to offer a male without defect. He must present it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting so that it will be acceptable to the LORD.
(It's interesting to see the level of detail God goes into on these sacrificial demands)
4 He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.
5 He is to slaughter the young bull before the LORD, and then Aaron's sons the priests shall bring the blood and sprinkle it against the altar on all sides at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
(Uh...what??)
6 He is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.
7 The sons of Aaron the priest are to put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.
8 Then Aaron's sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, on the burning wood that is on the altar.
9 He is to wash the inner parts and the legs with water, and the priest is to burn all of it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
(If this ain't enough to make you wonder I don't know what is)
10 " 'If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep or the goats, he is to offer a male without defect.
11 He is to slaughter it at the north side of the altar before the LORD, and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.
12 He is to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat, on the burning wood that is on the altar.
13 He is to wash the inner parts and the legs with water, and the priest is to bring all of it and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
14 " 'If the offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to offer a dove or a young pigeon.
1516 He is to remove the crop with its contents and throw it to the east side of the altar, where the ashes are.
17 He shall tear it open by the wings, not severing it completely, and then the priest shall burn it on the wood that is on the fire on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off the head and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar.
(These are some fairly brutal preludes to what the book of Leviticus holds)17 It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested.' "
18 When the LORD finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the Testimony, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.25 "If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not be like a moneylender; charge him no interest.
| Exodus, Chapter 12, 011: | And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover. |
| Exodus, Chapter 12, 012: | For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. |
| Exodus, Chapter 12, 013: | And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. It appears that the Lord isn't nice to everyone! As I have said before, it is difficult to reconcile to actions of God in the Old Testament to that of the New Testament. Exodus, Chapter 9, 022: | How are weapons and war used in the bible? You may have heard or read about the plagues of the Bible...but it is interesting to note the level of physical involvement there is when compared to what is generally witnessed today. If we read Exodus 9:22, we see some interesting action. And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt. Is this a war attack of some sort, maybe misinterpreted...a plague...radioactive fallout. Nuclear weapons in the Bible?!! |
| Exodus, Chapter 9, 023: | And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt. |
| Exodus, Chapter 9, 024: | So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. |
| Exodus, Chapter 9, 025: | And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field. |
| Exodus, Chapter 9, 026: | Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail. |
| Exodus, Chapter 9, 027: | And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. |
| Exodus, Chapter 9, 028: | Entreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer. |
15 God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, 'The LORD, [c] the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.
It is a curious passage of the Bible for sure. When the lord says "I am who I am"....the question is who is the lord?
Was "The Lord" indeed the same "entity" that created the entire universe as we know it today?

Being that these are ancient depictions of winged "angelic" creatures that predate the writings of the Bible by thousands of years, is it possible that maybe the main stream portrayal of what an angel may look like is actually not accurate.
They did write their own "Annunaki bible" which basically explains their own, very similar versions of many stories that are in the Bible. The Creation, The Flood, The Ark, David and Goliath and many others.| In Genesis, Chapter 6 | |
| 001: | And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, |
| 002: | That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. (The sons of God saw the daughters of men??? Were the sons of God a physical being that was not quite human as we are today? Does this have to do with different races? Many would say that the sons of God might be simply men of god or priestly faith. What if this was an intervention by one of many physical gods or beings that come from say another part of the universe...i.e. aliens etc.) |
| 003: | And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. |
| 004: | There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Are these giants in the Bible actually real? Are the giants also known as the mighty men of old and of reknown that the Bible refers to? Are they maybe the giants that built the The Temple of Jupiter in Baalbek in ancient lebenon) |
| 005: | And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. |
| 006: | And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. |
