Who were the Anakim?

According to the scripture, the Anakim were a race of giants that was produced by the character, Anak. This race of giants would go on to include Goliath, one of the noted challenges of the young King David.

Are the Anakim related to the Annunaki of Sumerian archaeology?

Here we look closely at the biblical passages pertaining to Anak and the Anakim.

'Josh 11:16–23|16 So Joshua took this entire land: the hill country, all the Negev, the whole region of Goshen, the western foothills, the Arabah and the mountains of Israel with their foothills,'

'Num 13:22|They went up through the Negev and came to Hebron, where Ahiman, Sheshai and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, lived. (Hebron had been built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)'

'Josh 15:13|In accordance with the Lord’s command to him, Joshua gave to Caleb son of Jephunneh a portion in Judah—Kiriath Arba, that is, Hebron. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)'

'Josh 15:14|From Hebron Caleb drove out the three Anakites—Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai—descendants of Anak.'

'Josh 21:11|They gave them Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron), with its surrounding pastureland, in the hill country of Judah. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)'

'Judg 1:20|As Moses had promised, Hebron was given to Caleb, who drove from it the three sons of Anak.'

It is up to you whether to believe this or not, however it is consistnent with the hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt and Mesopatamia that show giant figures and beings that were giant and considered to be gods.

Giants and the Trible of Gad - The Annunaki vs Anak?

It's easy to see why there are so many sceptics of the Christian faith when you look at Bible passages about giants....but...what if it did have at least some truth to it...?

16 These are the names of the men Moses sent to explore the land. (Moses gave Hoshea son of Nun the name Joshua.)

It is interesting that in the Bible it refers to these giants as the descendants of Anak.... it sounds alot like Annunaki. In other passages it refers to the race of giants in general as Anekim or Anakim....

31 But the men who had gone up with him said, "We can't attack those people; they are stronger than we are."

32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, "The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size.

33 We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them."

It seems as though there could very well have been other races of human like giants, but what happened? Where'd they go?

One theory is that the Annunaki, coming from the 10th planet of Niburu, would have been significantly fewer in number than say humans and so the likelihood of finding one would be far lower and therefore the stuff of lore. The giants that came before us...is it possible that they are coming back? Did they move some of largest stones in the world? Did they have techonologies like the ancient light bulb....long before Thomas Edison?

Genesis 6:1 - A look at the giants in the bibles old testament

In Genesis, Chapter 6
001:	And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
002:	That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. (The sons of God saw the daughters of men??? Were the sons of God a physical being that was not quite human as we are today? Does this have to do with different races? Many would say that the sons of God might be simply men of god or priestly faith. What if this was an intervention by one of many physical gods or beings that come from say another part of the universe...i.e. aliens etc.)
003:	And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
004:	There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Are these giants in the Bible actually real? Are the giants also known as the mighty men of old and of reknown that the Bible refers to?
